Arper Tentman Jr of Huber Heights, Ohio passed away Feb 16, 2017.
Arper retired as SMSGT from the U.S. Air Force with over 20 years of service, retired from U.S. Postal after 20 years, a member of Greater Galilee Baptist Church and numerous houses of the Masonic order. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sara C.; parents, Arper Sr. & Ada Bell; daughter, Pandora Patterson; sisters, Emma Lee, Lula Bush and Lucy Maddox. Arper is survived by his daughter, Devonnia M. Tentman of Huber Heights; son, Arper Tentman III of Miamisburg; fianc?e, Kay Anderson of Huber Heights; grandchildren, Natasha Gist & Raven Tentman; great-grandson, DeShaun Harewood; special nephew, William Bush Jr.; other nieces, nephews; and many other relatives & good friends. Funeral service 12:00 Noon Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Greater Galilee Baptist Church, 1001 Beatrice Drive with Pastor Eric Burns officiating. Interment Woodland Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until service time with a Masonic service at 11:15 AM. Carl L. Williams, 60 of Loudonville, (formerly of Harlin, Ky.) died at 2:50 AM Wednesday July 22, 2015 at Riverside Hospital.
He was born on January 25, 1955 in Harlin, Ky., the son of the late Alonzo and Essie (Jackson) Williams.
He served in the US marine Corp.
He is survived by his daughter, Carla Williams, siblings, Aubrey (Phyllis)Williams of Louisville, Ky., Otis (Gail) Williams of Augusta, Ga., Alaska “Les” (Catherine) Williams of Grand Blanc, Mi., Johnny (Beverly) Williams of Cleveland, Oh., and Edith Hollingsworth of Phoenix, Az. And three grandchildren.
Services will be on Wednesday, 1:30 PM July 29, the services will be officiated by his brothers. A time of visitation will be from 1 - 1:30 PM at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, Salem. The Salem Honor Guard will perform full honors at the conclusion of the services. He will be buried at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio.
George "Eddie" Mills of Morristown, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at his home.
Eddie was born on February 20, 1957 to Marshall Mills and Ollie Wilson Mills in Morristown, Tennessee. He attended Morristown-East High School. He was an outstanding athlete in basketball, football and track and field, as he presently holds the record for the high jump event. He served in the United States Army and received an honorable discharge.
Eddie was preceded in death by his father, Marshall Mills Sr.; his brother, Marshall "Dubby" Mills Jr.; and his sister, Trina Matthews.
Eddie is survived by his mother: Ollie W. Mills of Morristown; sister: Mona Lisa Mills of Morristown; son: Edward Leon Mills of Morristown; daughter: Anita (Victor Sanchez, Jr.) Nelums-Sanchez of Lexington, Kentucky; grandchildren; Jordan and Nate Thomas of Lexington, KY; nieces: Karla Mills and Sarah Leeper of Morristown, and Leah Leeper of Chattanooga, TN; great-nephews: Marshall and John of Knoxville, and Myles Wofford of Morristown; aunts, uncles, cousins; special friend: Pam Taylor; and a host of relatives and friends.
Memorial Service for Mr. Mills will be Monday, June 29, 2015, at 12 noon at Dockery Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 12 noon. Interment will follow the service at Russellville Cemetery.

Alberta Hazely High, 102, mother of Charles and Alma High passed away Thursday, August 6, 2015 at the Hospice Care Center at St. Joseph Hospital. Born July 23, 1913 in Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Wilburn and Candice Hazely. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Harlan, Kentucky and the Evergreen Baptist Church in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky.
She received a BA Degree from Kentucky State University also she received a Master's Degree from the University of Kentucky. She was a retired teacher from Rosenwald High School and Harlan High School. She was married to Homer High. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Eunice Davis and Hattie Pearl Wilson and a brother, Wilburn Hazely.
Survivors are a son, Charles (Dorothy) High; a daughter, Alma High; a sister, Ozzella Maxberry; a granddaughter, Tang (Todd) Nesselrode; two grandsons, Tyrone and Reggie High; two great grandchildren, Daegan and Daelan Nesselrode; two nieces, Geraldine Dunk and Ola Mae Reese; one nephew, Kenneth Hazely and several cousins.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 Noon, Friday, August 14, 2015 at First Baptist Church, Harlan, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 11 am until time of the service with burial to follow in the Resthaven Cemetery. Arrangements by Taul Funeral Home.
